on my short holiday (31 dec 2011) my family and i went to Garut, West java. there we visited a nature site, Kawah Kamojang. it was a land where many crater exist. it's located on the top of a mountain. no many people visited that place, so that place was not very crowded. i was greeted by a lake, a very hot crater actually. it sprayed thick smoke up to he air. and it's smell was very disgusting, like a putrid egg. then i climbed again to the higer land, and there i found Kawah Kereta Api (Train Crater) up there. God! that's very amazing! the land sprayed thick smoke strongly! it makes a very loud sounds like a train's whistle. from th first crater i visited, i thought that was a sound of waterfall because you could hear it from anywhere!

then i moved to the highest land on Kawah Kamojang. there's more craters than before. but the craters there were not making a loud sounds like the train's. there's three main craters. you can doing spa, or something like acupuncture, but from the splash of sulphur water not from needle, in front of the crater. the smoke of the crater will blow to your face and body and it feels very relaxing, but you have to stand with th smell. and the sulphur water's splash will touch your body like a needle so you will feel like stabbed.

it's my mom again doing water 'acupuncture' the water of sulphur splashed on to my mom's back, and she said that it felt like you are stabbed by a needle.
and one more thing. there you can find a men named Mang Koko. unfortunatelly i didn't have his pict. he is mysterious i think, because, believe it or not, he can control the smoke in Kawah Kamojang! smoke that used for my mother's spa, was controled by him so that smoke keep blowing over my mother's body even though the wind blows strongly, the smoke just like didn't move anywhere, just there on my mom's body. and also he could control the sulphur water to keep splashing on visitor's body if they want. so if you want to feel a natural spa or acupuncture, just talk to Mang Koko.
